German single by John Phillips, 2020

This instrument was built in 2020, inspired by 1737 and 1741 Christian Zell single-manual instruments, but following the scale and design principles of the 1722 double-manual by Johann Heinrich Gräbner Sr. Quilled in Canada goose feathers, with lid and case decoration by Janine Johnson. The case incorporates a geometric decorative pattern from a German jewelry box, and the lid is in cloisonné style.

French double by Allan Winkler, 2016

French harpsichord by Allan Winkler, 2016, after François-Étienne Blanchet II, 1765. Quilled with Great black-backed gull feather, with soundboard decoration by Maria Bablyak and lid painting by T.C. Robertson. This harpsichord is based on 1765 instrument by François-Étienne Blanchet II, which was the last instrument by the Blanchet family before their shop was taken over by Pascal Taskin in the late 18th century. Despite the late date, it has much more in common with earlier 18th-century French instruments than with Taskin instruments from a few years later. The soundboard painting is a montage of works by Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732–1806): Les hasards heureux de l’escarpolette (The Swing, 1767) on the lid flat, and three out of the four main panels from his Progress of Love series (1771–73).
