Join us for a feast for the eyes and ears! Our return to the stage, featuring German music and a new German harpsichord by John Phillips, will be accompanied by improvised live painting. Music by Meder, Handel, of course our namesake, J.S. Bach, and a sonata by his older brother, Johann Jacob Bach.

This concert celebrates the 400th birthday of Jean de La Fontaine, the French poet best known for his fables, and all art that evokes a story—music and spoken text that tells a story, or even just reminds us of the magic of storytelling.
