Take a grand tour of baroque Europe without leaving your seat, from Handel’s dramatic elegance in London to Pierre-Gabriel Buffardin’s virtuosity in Dresden and beyond, our season premiere follows the concerto across the continent, with each composer bringing a distinctive national voice to the genre. Featuring baroque flute and string orchestra, these works showcase the remarkable variety and imagination that made the concerto one of the eighteenth century’s most exciting musical forms.

Enter using the main white doorway at 1144 Park Avenue between 91st and 92nd Street. There are four steps leading up to the entrance with a hand-rail on either side.

We work hard to keep our ticket prices low, but they may still be out of reach for some. If you would like to attend this concert but cannot afford a ticket, please email music@sebastians.org to request a community comp ticket. (Availability is limited.) Let’s share this music together!
